WEDDINGS
I am currently taking bookings for weddings on all remaining available dates in 2025, subject to availability and the duties of my regular post. Please make wedding bookings as far in advance as possible. I am always happy to consider late or last-minute bookings if I have availability.
When making a wedding booking, the following come as standard:
A high-quality professional service
I have served as a cathedral Organ Scholar and now work as a full-time church organist, so you can be assured of the very highest professional standards in performance and accompaniment. I have played for wedding services in cathedrals and churches across the country for many years. Please read some of the comments and feedback I have received from previous clients by clicking here.
No additional video fee
It is customary for some organists to charge a mark-up of up to 100% if you record their playing at a service. I will not make any extra charge to you for recording my playing if you decide to make a video recording of the service in church or if it is live-streamed.
All-inclusive rates
All fees quoted are fully inclusive of travel and, if required, a reasonable amount of time spent discussing music with you. I publish my fees for the towns and cities I work in on this website, so you can be sure that my quotes are transparent and fair.
A copy of my suggested music and hymn lists
I have compiled comprehensive lists of suggested hymns and music for use at various points of a wedding service. These lists are available free of charge to all clients.
Advice on suitable music for your ceremony
I can provide advice over the telephone or by e-mail and am happy to undertake most requests. A comprehensive list of suggested pieces can also be provided for the entry of the bride, the signing of the registers and recessional music.
Competitive fees without any intermediary costs
I do not use the services of any agencies, paid listings sites or advertising companies. These companies ultimately result in increased costs being passed on to you, and I am therefore able to keep my rates as low as possible.
