General availability in Essex
I can provide freelance organist services throughout Essex for weddings and recitals only, subject to current availability. All private bookings are fitted around my regular organist post, which takes precedence in every instance. Please contact me and I will do everything I can to accommodate your request.
Fees
My fees are set on a zonal basis according to the distance I have to travel, which ensures I can keep the rates at the lowest possible level. Fees for individual services in Essex, last revised on 26th May 2026, are as follows:

These fees are valid for all central parts of the localities listed. For more rural locations, or ones located some distance from the places listed above, surcharges may apply and these will be advised to you at the time of booking.
For wedding bookings, I can also offer an additional package including two hours' piano music at a subsequent reception. If booked in addition to a church service (see rates above), there is a simple surcharge of £195, regardless of location. Please note there must be a piano at the reception venue, as I am not able to offer provision of portable instruments. Also, the reception venue must be reasonably close to where the service was held, or else additional travel expenses will apply.
